Dog shows in Iceland
Each year the Icelandic Kennel Club (HRFI) organizes three International Shows (CACIB shows) and at least one national show.
Show calendar and judges list can be seen here
Note that judges are not appointed for specific breeds until just before the deadline of entries.
To import a dog to Iceland an import permit must be obtained from the Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority and then the dog must go through a 4 week stay in a quarantine station. The Icelandic authorities do NOT accept a pet pass. The cost of the import permit and quarantine is from 1000-1500 Euros and can not be avoided even if the stay is short.
